A Unique and Effective Curriculum
Believing that reading is the doorway to education, we offer several avenues by which children and adults can learn to read or increase their reading ability. Our kindergarten program features a complete scope and sequence of concepts and skills needed to prepare children to read.
Our school testing average as remained above 95% across all levels of the program. The personalized workbook system allows each child to learn and retain and apply in and outside the classroom.
Diagnostic Testing
Each student entering VCA is given a diagnostic test to determine skill and concept mastery. The diagnostic tests assist the tutor in the evaluation of the student’s academic needs in each subject. After the student completes the testing, he
is given curriculum that meets and challenges him at his achievement level.
If weak areas are evident from the testing, the appropriate gap lessons will be given to strengthen specific weaknesses.
